Graphic design for a poster

As a freelance photographer and graphic designer I have worked in a variety of fields for the past twenty years. I captured dance performances in churches and on traditional stages, I assisted galleries in NYC and San Francisco with their visual identities, I taught photography and graphic design to old and young people and I have consulted artists regarding their artistic growth, upcoming projects or the conceptual ideas behind an exhibition.

I am an award winning artist, photographer and designer. I received a diploma in communications design / photo design from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, Germany and a master of fine arts from the San Francisco Art Institute. My commercial work has been published internationally, lately in the New York Times for the Martha Graham Dance Company.

About Me

Creative Approach

The creative process is a conversation between you and me that we begin with a free 30 minute consultation. My analytical and outgoing nature enables me to carefully listen to your needs in order to visually translate them to match your vision. I achieve that by asking you a lot of questions at the beginning. Your answers will be crucial for a successful outcome, however, creative thinking is a dance and I will take the steps  with you. Once our paths separate, I will leave you with results, with which you can carry on taking the next steps. I work based on hourly rates. Please write me about your needs and I can give you an estimate!

How I can assist You

You believe in the power of creative expression and are somewhat bored with mainstream design. You are curious and ready to re-discover your beauty in artistic ways. You want an analytical, creative and non-conformist approach to your digital marketing. You might need creative work done for a presentation or an upcoming show of yours. It could also just be as simple as video and photo editing. Or maybe you just need a consultation regarding a concept for a show, an upcoming book you plan to make or a portfolio you are about to do?
