“The only constant in life is change” once Heraclitus famously said. He’s right. Is he really? Isn’t change rather a gap between cycles? Maybe, maybe not? As everything flows, does change keep me in the flow? Maybe, maybe not? Change — the inevitable — something we either reject or crave, yet seldom initiate. Material abundance creates the illusion of stability, masking our reality — that of change. This book is a meditation on the long process of change and the emotional implications of its many phases — both challenging and rewarding. The self, subject to change, has the free will either to adapt or to remain stagnant.
